Yorkshire Sculpture Park

I didn't find the work particularly interesting at the Park, so I only took photos of a couple of exhibits.

I really liked this exhibition. At first I wasn't keen on the texture of the heads, but the more I looked at them it grew on me, it sets them apart from other sculptures. What particularly struck me was the eyes. They looked as though they were following you, which brought the sculptures to life. I don't think I could incorporate this with my project, but it was my favourite at YSP.

I then saw this piece, which was designed for the viewer to sit on.

I thought this was quite cool. Most artists are to precious of their work, so your kind of limited on how you can interact with their work.

I then saw this in the toilets of all places:

Which has give me the idea to create a piece of art that has another purpose. There is loads of things I can do with that, and I think it could be quite interesting, and useful.
